Marina Sgamato was born in Naples in 1986.

 

After graduated from Classical High School and the bachelor's degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage she graduated in History of Art.


She discovered her passion for photography at age 19 during a trip to Vienna, thanks to a lucky shot fortuitous.

Collaborator of independent newspapers as L’Iniziativa, epressonline.net, Pozzuoli Magazine and SlowTour Campi Flegrei, is the official photographer of Malazè , the study of audiovisual production BraInHeart, A Corto di Donne and other flegrean events.

She has been still photographer for Mater Mediterranean, a documentary filmed by director Giuseppe Ferrara in Naples and has participated in several national and international photographic competitions, bringing major awards (including: Mercedes Best Performance, Egypt International Photo Contest, Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year, Social World Film Festival).
